Feedback about Coolibah Lodge
Excellent
The Coolibah Lodge is without doubt one of the
nicest hostels I've stayed in. The staff are _very_
helpful and friendly, and the facilities are clean
and tidy.
The whole atmosphere is very welcoming, so much so
that I did not hesitate to return at the end of my
trip.
I booked the Coolibah because of the reviews on this
site, and I concur with them all!

What a Place.
it has to be the best in Perth.
The only hostel that smells of furniture polish!Clean!
On Arrival in Perth we stayed at (X - removed by editor)
a dump and then moved onto the (X - removed by editor)
(even worse... the pits). Unfortunately this was spoiling
our experience of Perth, and we struggled to settle.
That was however, until we were recommended Coolibah
Lodge - WOW! Its more like a hotel. We had a lovely
double room opening onto the courtyard, with fridge
and tea & coffee! When we ran out all we had to
do was ask for more! Evening entertainment like free
quizes make it easy to mingle, and they even take
you to the supermarket for your shopping. Unlike most
hostel kitchens this one was spottless, and even had
clean tea-towels! My only small critisism was that
the ladies showers are right next to the door, so
they were freezing, and could have been kept a little
bit cleaner, but still by far the best hostel in Oz!
This place completely changed our experience in Perth.

We stayed at this hostel for about a month. It
has a great atmosphere — and it's very clean!
Lorraine is like a second mum to everyone! Make sure
you stay here. It's the best hostel in Oz!

I moved to this hostel after having been in Perth
for a few days and loved it. The minute you walk in
the staff make you feel at home and go to a massive
effort to remember your name. It has free DVDs, pretty
cheap Internet and drinks on the premises. There are
pizza nights, nice and cheap laundry, and plenty of
space to hang up your clothes afterwards. And there
are nice communal areas outside to sit in, too. Only
minus point is that it got quite cold at night. That's
probably my old age, though. Recommended without a
doubt.

The
lodge is clean, comfortable and cheery, with air conditioning
and a nice and well-utilised barbecue area. Coolibah
Lodge is literally around the corner from Perth's
best selection of cafes, restaurants, night-spots
and cinemas. The central city is just a five minute
walk away and the central train station even closer
